SinglePoint is looking for a V.P. of Advertising that will be a key member of a dynamic executive team that is evolving tomorrow's mobile advertising technology. Reporting to the CEO you will bring your advertising expertise, awesome sales talent and out of the box strategic thinking to lay the foundation for advertising in this new and exciting media that is iTV (interactive TV).
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
The VP of Advertising Sales will shape and grow our digital advertising strategy. In this role, you will create and develop best practice processes and a solid go to market strategy. You will also bring thought leadership to our clients, helping us to expand our advertising relationships. In addition, you will contribute to new business efforts and the overall leadership of SinglePoint.
Develop Advertising Practice
- Execute mobile campaigns and build a case study on ROI for mobile.
- Create pricing models for both CPM and CPC.
- Create processes and best practices related to advertising services (i.e. business model, distribution channels, partnerships and alliances.)
- Develop our digital advertising point of view that we can share with employees and clients
- Thought Leadership
- Work with our marketing group to secure speaking engagements at key conferences.
- Create white papers for mobile advertising interaction
- Determine requirements for our data analytics for advertising clientele.
- Calling on customers and closing deals.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of leading people and transforming clients into strong advocates
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop the skill sets of those around you
- Track record of working across an organization to get things done
- Superior interpersonal, communication and presentations skills - including the ability to package complex concepts into action.
- Skilled negotiator who understands the art of diplomacy.
- Outstanding and creative strategic thinker
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to perform and inspire under challenging and pressure-packed situations.
- Understanding of or passionate interest in learning about the mobile market place and technologies
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience, preferably in digital marketing, media planning and buying, direct marketing, advertising or strategic consulting
- Media sales in experience in more than one type of media.
- Front line digital agency experience servicing senior level clients
- Previous experience having worked with ad networks
- Understanding of media buyer's requirements for IAB standard reporting of campaign management and measurement
- MBA degree a plus; Bachelor's degree required
